  • important things for taking good action sports photos are the cameras aperture shutter speed and ISOsettings
  • for sharp images you need to make sure the camera is getting enough light into it 
  • the aperture and shutter speed need to be balanced to the lower the f-stop is , the more lightthe faster the shutter speed the lower the F-stop needs to be
  •  freezing the action you will need a fast shutter speed
  •  best way to balance the shutter speed and aperture is to set the camera to manual mode
  •  to capture the action you need to get as close to the area as you can
  • timing is important in sports photography
  • the lower the number such, the lower the sensitivity is and the finer the grain darker conditions you need a higher ISO setting as it for a  faster shutter speeds
  • a distance away you’ll need a telephoto lens
  • you need to have a good camera equipment and lighting
  • manual camera is easier to work with in sports photography it has more options long and fast lenses are  for action shots

Useful modes and settings on your digital camera such as aperture and shutter modes they are an automatic mode giving you more control over your images. Automatic Exposure Bracketing is a feature that many cameras have built into them that will let you to get well exposed shots in the hardest of lighting situations. There is a way to hold you camera and if you get it wrong and it can impact the quality of your photo.Some main causes for lack of sharpness are poor focus , subject movement , camera shake and noise. To help get sharper picture you can get a tripod or hold the camera much firmer. you can try to change the shutter speed. All cameras have a flash so you mine as well know how to use it by getting close or by directing your flash DIY style. You can also try slow sync flash to help you.
